They provide protection even when the weather is far from perfect. Straight Drop Blinds can be raised using a spring assist, crank handle, cord and pulley or motorisation for the most effortless use. This extensive range of options enables Straight Drop Blinds to be custom made to suit most circumstances, including openings up to 5.8m wide. Clips or straps are used with Straight Drop Blinds to secure them at your desired height. Specially created, latest generation shade mesh fabrics are designed for you to see out during the day and obstruct others’ ability to see in – maximising the sense of space. With holes so small, they allow only 1-5% of light through the fabric, you can provide great protection for your guests from wind, bugs and light showers.

How Does It Work? Straight Drop Blinds are comprised of a piece of fabric attached to an aluminium tube at the top, with a bottom bar encased within a fabric pocket. On Straight Drop Blinds, straps or clips are attached to either end of the bottom rail, which in turn, will clip onto saddles on the post or ground at multiple positions. To raise and lower the blind you simply use your hands, a crank handle, a pull down stick or remote control to lower the blind and clip it into place – or undo the clips and raise the blind up and out of the way. Simple and easy! No Zips or channels. Wire Guided Straight Drop Verandah Blinds are also composed of a piece of fabric attached to an aluminium tube at the top, with an exposed square shaped bottom bar. The fabric, attached to the bottom rail, runs seamlessly up and down stainless steel wires. Wire Guided Straight Drop Blinds do not require any clips or straps to keep them in place.

Straight Drop Awnings are most commonly operated manually with a crank gearbox and handle. They can also be operated using spring assist, or motorised and controlled by remote or switch. It doesn’t get much simpler than that!
